Prayer

At Arise, prayer is a core focus.

Once a month we have corporate prayer meetings, in addition to sunday mornings before church. At these meetings we have been praying for God’s establishment of his righteousness in the “7 mountains” - family, education, business, media, arts, government and religion.

Over the last few years, our hearts have been deeply moved by the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. We encourage all people to link to their 24 hour prayer and worship room online.

As a corporate prayer goal for our Church, we are encouraging and believing for all of us to operate in a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. For 2010 we have listed some prayer goals in order to help us reach for all the God has in this area:

1. -Once a week fasting
   

2. -8 hours of weekly personal devotion
   

3. -Corporate prayer gatherings
   

As a church, we have been deeply impacted by God’s heart for prayer, and we believe that this a major component of who Arise is.
